Where, oh where could they be? .....

I can't tell you how many times I have misplaced my Wal-Mart reading glasses.  The last pair I misplaced was left in a restaurant in Mt. Airy back in August.  I thought I was doing great to have kept these so long.  But sure enough this past Tuesday, they seem to have gone permanently missing this time!  I would say I looked everywhere but if I had, I would have found them.

Here is the empty case for proof........

Wednesday afternoon, after my FIRST trip to IKEA with The Married One (that story is for another day), I headed to Hobby Lobby for a replacement pair with my 40% off coupon.  I found these already marked 60% off .....

I should have been using this cute pin......

I bought this at the Christmas Carousel craft show held in Raleigh during Thanksgiving weekend about 7 years ago.  Hard to tell but unless you enlarge the picture but it's a cute little quilter just working away.

Oh, how I hate that my eyes are getting old!

Blessings, Cathi

I feel the same way...hate that my eyes are failing me.
Seems like I have those little reading glasses all over the house, even a pair or two of prescription reading glasses, and I can never find a pair when I need them. I've resorted to wearing one of those things that go around your neck, but I like your pin much better.

Oh I need one of those pins! Instead I have glasses all over the house...one pair at the computer and one at the sewing machine and one in the kitchen. At least I only need glasses for reading and seeing things up close! Gotta be grateful for that much! :0)

Bifocals (well progressive lenses I think they are called) now that makes me feel bad. Love the glasses though - very cute. Amazing that she sat and had her picture taken with them on.
I'm jealous that you went to Ikea. Did you look at their fabrics? I wish we'd get one at this end of the state.

I am to the point I'm keeping a pair of glasses in almost every room. Usually there's a pair on top of my head . . . . and sometimes two *s*

The pin is the perfect solution. I've tried lanyards - but just end up choking myself.

Oh pleeeeze don't even start about things happening to us as we age! Where does all that peach fuzz come from and I feel like a need a harness to keep the "girls" where they belong:)

Take Care!

I so feel your pain. I've started wearing reading glasses for my stitching this past year. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the orange poka-dots!! If you have to wear them, they might as well be cute!

I know! It is like a light switch got shut off when I hit 42... all of a sudden I couldn't see well anymore after having exceptional vision my whole life. Dang! But those are some funky, cute readers :o)
