Question for all you stitchers.....

I am about finished with a stitchery that I am going to frame. Usually I make it into a wallhanging or leave it in the "finished top" box until I decide what to do with it.

But those that frame, do you leave the glass in or take it out? I don't like the shine that the glass can put on it sometimes but it does protect it from dust and things. And I have a LOT of dust in my house.

This is the one I am working on. It's a freebie from
Primitive Betty but I changed the date to "1979" (our anniversary year).

Blessings, Cathi

Hi Cathi,
I leave mine without the glass. I don't like the shine and you can see it so much better. It also looks more prim to me without the glass. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

Hi Cathy! I put all my stitchery under no-glare glass. I want my things to continue to look good through the years, and the glass protects against dust, dirt, smoke, whatever. Hope this advice will help you decide.

No help from me on this one - I have done both and really do not have a preference. Thought I would say something anyway - didn't want you to think I was ignoring you, LOL.

Mine are all under glass, I've just always done them that way:)
Have a great Easter!
