Slow as molasses and even slower in the winter . . . .

Dear Hubby and I are STILL working on little projects mostly in the living room.  We just can't seem to get anything finished.

We finally made a deal that WHEN we finished the living room, dining room and foyer, we would reward ourselves with something nice.

Dear Hubby finished the bookcase to the left of the former fireplace . . . . .

The base moulding is down . . . . .

But the crown moulding is not . . . .

Still . . . . .

But once the base moulding went down, Dear Hubby was very excited and vowed to finish this project.  He just needs a few free weekends and a Spring Break to get there.

On my end, I am having trouble with the sconces.  Thought I had something picked out but the customer service was being so difficult at the store I picked, I abandoned that idea.  I'll know it when I see it!

Blessings, Cathi

I guess I'll wait for my visit until that crown moulding is up. LOL (love the color!)

That is a beautiful color on the bookcases! I love that phrase, slower than molassess in January. I say it all the time about myself. :)

Remodeling projects always take so much longer than what we hope. It's hard to find the time to do things like that. It took us three years to redo our family room.

The bookcases look very nice...and I love the spining wheel. Can't wait to see all this in person.

Hang in there girl! It's coming together terrifically (is that a word?)! Goodness, you all have done so much and I think it's coming along at a good speed. We do everything as we have the money so our projects are always long and slow. I really love the colors you've picked out.

I love the paint color on your book case and trim. Could you tell me what the name of the color is? Thanks!

Great looking book cases. Everyone needs a few of those. Nice molding too. It will look really nice when the crown molding is up.
