Reindeer antlers in my garden . . . . .

I've always thought the dried daylily stalks looked like reindeer antlers. Thought I'd share before I pulled them out.

On the flooring front, we are about to start coat 3 of 4.  We are using tung oil for the finish.  An absolutely beautiful matte finish that is very durable and water repellent.  But it takes forever to dry.  It will be at least a week to 10 days after we put the last coat on before we can walk on it with shoes.  Then at least 30 days before it will be totally cured.  We're not sure when in that time frame we will start putting the furniture back in.  It sure will be worth it though!

I'm on vacation today, and one of the things on my to-do list is pull the dried day lily stalks; how funny you posted about them.

They do look like antlers... how cute!

I don't know if I could persevere like you have on this floor but I do believe if you are going to do something, do it right the first time no matter how long it takes! It will so be worth the wait!!

Just wanted to let you know that I see these everywhere now and think of you! LOL!

Btw... didn't know if you knew this or not, but you can go in and delete those Chinese comments. Sometimes they accidently get clicked on which keeps them coming back.
